Total Flooding Pre-Engineered Fire Extinguishing Systems

Worldwide approved Clean Agent HFC-227ea and FK-5-1-12 Clean Extinguishing Agent.  Fireboy clean agent fire extinguisher systems are designed to automatically discharge whenever the protected space ambient temperature reaches 175 degrees Fahrenheit.  All systems meet EN ISO 9094-1 and EN ISO 9094-2 standards.

When the Fireboy System discharges, the extinguisher is designed to fully empty the contents in less than 10 seconds. No clean up is required. There is no powdery residue or water left behind. The fire is extinguished by a combination of heat reduction and chemical reaction.

Fireboy Systems are available to protect engine rooms and machinery spaces from as small as 25 cubic feet to as large as 4000 cubic feet.

Each Fireboy pre-engineered fire extinguishing system includes stainless steel mounting brackets, helm station status LED panel and Owners/Installation manual. Backed by our 3-year limited warranty.

All Fireboy Extinguishers are factory refillable except when the discharge is the result of a fire.

Total Flooding Clean Agent Engineered System FES Series

When properly engineered, these Fireboy Total Flooding Clean Agent Systems fire suppression systems will suppress surface burning fire in Class A, B, and C hazards.  Craft with equipment that draws intake air from within a protected space require installation of an Engine Shutdown System.

An engineered system utilizing a fixed nozzle agent distribution network, the system is designed and installed in accordance with the IMO FSS CODE (SOLAS, IMO MSC/ Circ.1267 “Clean Agent Fire Extinguishing Systems”).

When properly designed, the FK-5-1-12 fire extinguishant system will suppress surface burning fire in Class A, B, and C hazards.

80% of FK-5-1-12 fire extinguishant fire fighting effectiveness is achieved through heat absorption and 20% through direct chemical means (action of the fluorine radical on the chain reaction of a flame.

Gasoline Fume Detectors

Xintex® manufactures and sells vapor-detection instruments to provide positive vapor detection before trouble can develop!

Gasoline fumes in a bilge or engine compartment, with or without a blower fan, have the potential to be a serious risk at any time.

First, because fuel leaks create new fumes as rapidly as the blower clears old fumes away. With the fan off, the hazard is increased.

Second, the blower fan is typically operating prior to engine start-up, thus offering no protection from the ignition of fumes by electrical short circuit, battery hydrogen explosion, smoking or their causes.

Xintex offers a full line of gas detectors and accessories to match your specific needs.
